Where’d the War Be?
I’ve got nothing to hide. Look inside my empty pockets.
I’ve got some insecticide, some heat-seeking rockets.
Bombs and guns galore. Guns and ammo abound.
To prove I love you more; can’t you hear the sound?
(rifle shot)
Where’d the war be
without me giving you all this artillery for this military coup?
Tell me, where’d the war be
Without the stuff that you need?
Looking at your history; don’t think you can make it without me.
How about missile fire? Planes for fight in air?
I’ve got some razor wire to reach from here to there
Gonna need some land mines – make sure the trip wire’s set
Talk about explosions – Baby, you ain’t seen nothing yet!
Where’d the war be
without me giving you all this artillery for this military coup?
Tell me, where’d the war be
Without the stuff you need?
Looking at your history; don’t think you can make it without me.
You got to have some napalm, to assure you win the race
And how about a nuclear bomb, just in case?
No to forget the bio – logical weapons, I meant to say
Nothing like a fatal disease to spoil a perfect day!
Where’d the war be
without me giving you all this artillery for this military coup?
Tell me, where’d the war be
Without the stuff that you need?
Looking at your history; don’t think you can make it without me.
