Mary’s Little Rock n Roller

MARY’S LITTLE ROCK-N-ROLLER

Mary’s got a little rock-n-roller
‘Neath her dress
A special being
Who’ll never settle for less
She’s frightened
But no bother
She’s gonna make me a father
A little rock-n-roller
Inside her womb
Certain to brighten
Up any room

What’s ahead for this little man
As He enters a weary, troubled land?
A King…
A Leader, say some
Let His Kingdom come

Is any wish too high for a Son
Who comes from such an innocent one?
Will He let the captive free
Or be nailed upon a tree?

She feels the tiny heartbeat
Before the world will know His name
She cannot see tomorrow
Or where this little life will reign
She only knows He chose her
To carry Heaven’s greatest plan
A mother holding history
Inside her gentle hands

Mary’s little rock-n-roller
Wish the Father could have told her
Of the fate…
Of what lies ahead
Mary’s little rock-n-roller
Concentrate while I hold her
Once were mates…
Now we’re parents instead
