She’s got style, she’s got grace
She wears His countenance upon her face
She’s a big-city girl with a small-town heart
She plays her award-winning part
She’s a good girl Good to the core
Who could ask for Anything more?
She’s a good girl Doing her part
To win the favor Of her Father’s heart
Seeking His will from day to day
Reading her lines from His Master Play
She’s got the key to unlock the mystery
Of the struggle that goes on within me
She never asks for the spotlight’s glow
She’s more concerned that His love will show
The world may never know her name
But heaven smiles just the same
She walks in quiet dignity
A living song of victory
And somehow, just by loving well
She teaches broken hearts to heal
Like an armor-clad holy knight
She knows what’s wrong and what is right
Like a shining light to a lost generation
She speaks of hope to a darkened nation
She’s a good girl Good to the core
Who could ask for Anything more?
She’s a good girl Doing her part
To win the favor Of her Father’s heart
She’s a good girl… She’s a good girl…
