Mum an’ dad
Came from another land
On a planet, far away
Reaching their destiny
Mum an’ dad
Wanted a longer life for their lad
He’s sent to a planet, far away
Struggling with identity
Mum an’ dad
Came to me one night
They told me my story
How they thought their planet would die
They didn’t want to have to say good bye
To the son they loved so dearly
Saving my life was their concern, clearly
Many other parents
Did the same
Sending their sons and daughters here
To get a chance at a better life
So I have brothers and sisters, here
Feeling disconnected from another life
I begged them to let me come home
They told me this was a one-way escape
Don’t feel so bad cause I’m not alone
I’ve got brothers and sisters in the same shape

Our earth-parents have no clue
That we’re not really from here
They think we’re earthling, true-blue
Our hybrid future highway’s unclear
So, I’m callin’ out to my extended folks
Who share the same origin as me
You don’t have to be lonely blokes
Reunited, we’ll solve this inconsistency
To the rest of you
Don’t bother, leave us alone
We look like the best of you
We’re makin’ this planet our home
An’ we’re gonna share it with you
